Invitation to a Blue Christmas Service

You are invited to our Blue Christmas Service at St. John the Evangelist.

This gentle, reflective service is for anyone who finds the Christmas season difficult. While many celebrate with joy, others carry grief, loneliness, or heavy burdens. Blue Christmas offers a sacred space to acknowledge those feelings honestly, while resting in the promise that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it (John 1:5).

Through Scripture, prayer, silence, and candlelight, we will remember together that Christ comes to bring hope and healing—even in our longest nights.
